DAVIS BAY BEACH

At the Carambola Beach Resort on Rt. 80 on the northwest side of St. Croix.

Visit Davis Bay Beach and enjoy a day of swimming and body surfing. Pack a picnic basket and eat under the palm then lay back and relax in one of the many hammocks and chairs, This white sandy beach is a prime location for basking in the sun. Take a dip at west end of the beach or watch the waves crash in on the north shore. Davis Bay Beach has a rough current at times, making it an ideal setting for body surfers. This beach has a rocky bottom, making it a great place for colorful fish to hide, and thus, a great place for snorkeling! Once you’re done basking in the sun, visit the boutique, golf course, and bar and grill that is open to the public at Carambola Beach Resort.

Northstar Bay

Northstar Bay is a local favorite for snorkeling and scuba diving. Two-hundred yards directly off the shore, the depth of the ocean plunges from 30 feet down to 10,000 feet. This spectacular wall is is home to a large variety of marine life, and provides an ideal location for scuba divers. The amazing diving at Northshore Beach makes it a popular location on weekends, so if you desire a more secluded experience, visit Northstar Beach during the week.

CANE BAY BEACH

Lay out on Northshore Beach’s white sandy stretch, or go for a swim and check out the snorkeling on the reefs near shore. Check out the full service dive center where you can rent kayaks, snorkeling equipment, and more. “Cane Bay Wall” is a 1,000 foot ocean drop located ¼ mile from the shore. Swim over the coral reeds and check out the gorgeous fish that coast through these waters. The Diveshop provides a boat to drop you by the wall any time of day.

Salt River Bay National Historical Park is a dynamic tropical ecosystem, packed with saltwater ponds, freshwater marshes, coral reefs and the largest mango forest in the Virgin Islands. Salt River Bay is home to Prehistoric and colonial-era archeological sites and ruins. This historically rich bay is a great location for kayak tours, snorkeling, and scuba diving. Salt River Bay National Historical Park spreads over 1,015-acres, providing you with a variety of scenery to enjoy based on what activities you desire for that day.

Judith’s Fancy is a local favorite for surfing in St. Croix. When the tide is out, many visitors enjoy snorkeling in the sprawling coral reef. This beach is mostly rock, making it an interesting location to see local wildlife, but is not a prime spot for sunbathing. Stroll the beach and check out the array of intricate shells and beautiful waves that crash along the shore.
